Instruction and Guiding on the River Teign

Unfortunately at the moment (2016) an UTFA permit does not entitle the holder to fish between Fingle Bridge and Clifford Bridge - the Bovey Castle water - which is currently up for sale.

The extensive fishing on the River Teign controlled by the Upper Teign Fishing Association (UTFA) offers the novice and experienced angler the opportunity to catch wild brown trout within the Dartmoor National Park. At the end of the day, relax with friends at the Fingle Bridge Inn.
Fingle Bridge on the River Teign
"... anyone who really gets to know the moorland streams of the south-west can hope for a good percentage of successful outings, and should settle for nothing less." (Mike Weaver, In West Country Fly Fshing, Ed. Anne Voss Bark, Batsford, London, 1983 , p.65
)
